Before joining Tempel, Taylor was Managing Partner and Principal of Taylor Conway Partners, LLC, a management consulting company he founded in 2007.

Prior to founding Taylor Conway Partners, Taylor was President of MacLean Vehicle Systems, LLC (MVS), a subsidiary of the privately held MacLean-Fogg Company.  Over a ten year period under his leadership, MVS substantially increased its sales and profits and operated successfully in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Taiwan, Japan, China and India.  Before MVS, Taylor held senior management positions at Huck International, Inc., now a unit of Alcoa, Inc. and a variety of management and technical positions at Ford Motor Company where he started his industrial career.

Taylor holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University. He and his wife Susan live in Lake Forest, IL, and are the proud parents of five adult children.
