Tempel Names Timothy Feast Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing 2/24/2010
Chicago (November 30, 2010) - Timothy Feast has been named Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing of Tempel Steel Company. He is a member of the executive committee and reports directly to Tempel's President and COO Tim Taylor. Feast comes to Tempel after 13 years with Solutia, Inc., in St. Louis, Missouri, where he most recently served as President of Saflex, an $800 million division that manufactures and markets laminated glass interlayers for automotive and architectural customers. Feast also served as Vice President of Business Management for Saflex and previously held several other positions of increasing responsibility at Solutia in business management, development, marketing, and sales management. "Tempel is a strong company with a long history of engineering excellence and has invested in a global operating footprint," Feast said. "I am looking forward to building on that tradition and driving future growth through excellence in all our commercial operations." Prior to Solutia, Feast worked in sales and business development roles with Monsanto Company, holding positions in the United Kingdom and Belgium. "Tim Feast comes to Tempel with a strong global marketing, sales and business operations background," Taylor said. "His focus on furthering and developing outstanding customer service practices will benefit both Tempel and its worldwide customers in the coming years." Feast holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of Warwick in Coventry, United Kingdom. He also earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. He is relocating to Chicago with his wife Zoe and their daughter.
