Tempel has made a significant financial commitment in the progressive stamping technology in the industry. No matter what size rotor or stator you need, we have a variety of precision presses and tools to meet your needs. Progressive motor lamination stamping is dedicated to the special production requirements of small to medium size diameter laminations up to 18 inches or 457mm in diameter. We utilize the latest state-of-the-art equipment and processes to produce motor and generator laminations with value-added assembly operations for the Automotive Motors, Sub-fractional, Fractional and Integral Consumer and Industrial Motors, Hermetic Motors, Specialty Motors, Linear Motors, Axial Gap Motors and Electric Generator Industries. We also produce transformer laminations for Automotive Ignition, Ballasts used in Neon, HID, Florescent and Specialty Lighting applications; Transformer Laminations used in Mono-phase, Poly-phase, Ferro-resident and Relay applications in addition to many other shapes and sizes for other industries. At Tempel, we've always made it our mission to procure the latest in proven technology. Therefore, we have invested in high volume, high-speed progressive stamping presses manufactured by Schuler, Minister, Bruderer, AIDA and others to meet the needs of special applications for our customers. We have open bed, quick die change, mandrel, straight side presses from 20 - 550 tons, which can produce laminations at up to 1100 strokes per minute using raw materials that range from 30 Gauge 0.0110 inches (0.279mm) to 14 Gauge 0.0781 inches (1.984mm) producing clean burr free parts. Tempel produces precision high-speed progressive stamping dies to produce products using the highest of workmanship and engineering standards. Our tool rooms are dedicated solely to the support of manufacturing, utilizing the latest in equipment and technology. From stamping presses to die designing and building, Tempel covers the full range of world class manufacturing.
