Since creating a presence in Monterrey in 1998, Tempel de Mexico has established itself as the largest supplier of magnetic steel laminations in Mexico. Tempel has expanded the Monterrey facility to maintain this high level of production, adding 200,000 square feet (20,000 square meters) of manufacturing operations and consolidating two plants and a warehouse into one centralized manufacturing facility. The facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and improved process flow. The expansion has increased Tempel de Mexico's annealing, slitting, and shipping capacities and features a new laser welding cell and die-casting department.
