Job Summary and Primary Functions
1.Management:
1.1Establish and develop quality team continuously, meet and support the company's long-term business development;
1.2.Implement the policy system in quality department, and carry out activities legally;

Be responsible for New project/part quality and mass production process quality control, APQP and PPAP submit/customer claim handle. Process/production/customer audit and action follow up/ process change verification/ scrap rate analysis/QCH Management.
Job Summary and Primary Functions
1.Work with project team during the new project/parts launched. Prepare PPAP doc and define the inspection with Customer and coach QC according to inspection WI;
2.Coordinate for Customer PPAP/ISIR, and prepare PPAP submission;

4.Lead team to handle the internal process and customer claim quality issue, quickly response to customer and check the effective of action. QCH area suspect parts evaluation;

Purpose of The Job
Responsible for the integration and optimization of steel and die procurement activities; this position will be deeply involved in developing the steel purchasing strategy to better leverage the global suppliers of electrical steel. Additionally, this position is responsible for taking on activities to help increase efficiencies and enhance results in demand/supply forecasting, inventory management and related general purchasing.
Job Summary and Primary Functions
1.Establishes processes consistent with the divisional needs and corporate strategy that enable the success of selected strategies to ensure a robust and flexible supply of raw material and die to meet the division’s customer requirements.
2.Ensures the execution of mill orders comply with overall supply strategy and optimize the inventory availability while minimizing the impact on working capital.
3.Develops goals, objectives, strategies, and metrics that support the divisions and corporate initiatives and ensure they are monitored and reported to the Senior Leadership Team at regular intervals.
4.Works closely with other departments to improve execution across all facets of purchasing and the supply chain.
5.Works closely with Quality and Technical resources to find improvements in our qualification process and manage supplier activities to ensure a comprehensive and well communicated trial process.
6.Works with Operations, Quality and Technical resources to ensure our claims process is thorough, quick, and efficient.
7.Accountable for owning and continually improving all Purchasing related processes.
8.Works closely with Sales to refine and improve the forecasting process to improve accuracy and investigate missed forecasts so adjustments can be made to minimize inventory build ups.
9.Works with all purchasing resources to develop and implement a supplier scorecard process so suppliers are aware of their performance and have objective feedback to continually improve their overall performance around quality, delivery, and service to all Tempel divisions.
10.Regular marketing analysis to identify the price trend, track the price gap between spot/future and make decision properly.
11.Maintain good relationship with all the mills.
12.Performs other duties as assigned.

Functions:
- Installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of industrial mechanical equipment and associated presses, ovens, Slitter, dies, and conveyors.
- Some familiarity with PLCs. Mainly Siemens and Allen Bradley troubleshooting
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Disassembles and repairs defective mechanical equipment or systems.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical or electromechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulic, pneumatic, motorized and mechanical production tools, machines and production lines.
- Utilize diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Good fabrication, machine shop and welding skills.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

- Report to the supervisor or department head any contravention of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation or Tempel Burlington regulations or the existence of any uncontrolled hazards
- Welding of items (Construct, repair, and modify any type of apparatus)
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright and electrical troubleshooting skills (dual ticket is an asset)
- At least 3-5+ years mechanical maintenance technical experience in a manufacturing environment – ideally in the metal processing or high-volume fabrication
- Strong written and spoken communications skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Slitter Operator
Job Summary:
A Slitting Operator must have the capabilities to perform safe and productive Operation of the Slitting line, the Head Setting Functions, the Loading and unloading of Master Coils and Slit Coils and operate the Packaging Line. Cross training on all tasks and machines would be essential. An operator must have the capability to meet and exceed company production targets as well as customer and Tempel prescribed quality tolerances. Required to hold a valid crane and forklift license.
Work Schedule: 12 Hour Shifts (Continental rotation – Days and Nights)
Functions:
Slitter Operator Functions:
• Set-up changeovers (slitting heads)
• Change separator over arms
• Set up tooling, knives, clearances and knife penetration (enter head)
• Sign off coil check to confirm master coil number accuracy
• Measure strip widths, compare results against ordered width, and record actual results
• Measure the material thickness, confirm actual against specification, record accrual results
• Measure slitting burr, confirm actual against specification, record accrual results
• Run equipment to feed up and slit master coil
• Troubleshoot slitter performance during operation
• Label slit coils (generate computer bar code and place on coils)
• Complete all necessary documents, place information into the computer system (Visual, Cass and PDMS)
• Remove slit coils from the coil re-winder and place on the turnstile
• Clean up the slit cut tail end scrap
Head Setting Functions:
• Assemble or disassemble the slitting head (slitting knives, spacers, rubbers) as per customer order and computer set-up
• Store disassembled slitting knives, spacers and rubbers in their proper location
• Assemble separator disks as per print out from computer set-up
• Check and double check all settings:
• Set up Tooling and knife Clearances
• Knife wobble
• Set-up itself
• Set knife depth (enter)
• Clean stripper rings
Loading Functions:
• Load and unload master coils or slit cuts
• Operate crane and forklift when necessary
• Feed up coil or slit cuts
• Sign off on the coil check for master coil numbers.
• Prepare next coil ahead of time
• Cut off bands/paper
• Mark split
• Dig out coils
• Prepare core liners
• Strip and build separators
• Assist Head Setter when needed
• Assist on tension boards
• Assist on Packaging line
• Assist on Banding head and Unloading
Packaging Line Operator Functions:
• Band and package slit cuts
• Operate the packaging line
• Follow the computer system or documented packaging instructions (Binders are backup)
• Package slit coils as per the packaging instructions (customer specifications) in regard to:
• Number of bands
• Number of blocks and location
• Type of skid
• Paper or plastic wrapping
• Proper ID and bar-code
• Operate the following pieces of equipment using push button and/or slide switch controls:
• Exit coil car
• Slit coil turn style
• Down ending stations
• Banding head
• Stacker head
• Skid carousel
• Conveyor line
• Stretch wrapping station
• Scale functions and summary station
• Place finished packaged slit cuts in the proper area
• Set up over arm separators
Required Skills:

• Operate a hydraulic forming press & banding gun producing form cores for heat treating.
• Carry out job change overs and minor repairs.
• Proficient in the use of powered & non powered hand tools.
• Move product around facility on conveyor lines or overhead cranes using industrial magnets.
• Meet daily production requirements while maintaining high levels of quality.
• Document critical product measurements & production data accurately.
• Keep assigned machines and areas clean and safe.
Furnace Operator:
• Load & unload cores using industrial magnets on a continuous cycle.
• Remove banding and plating after core has been heat treated & cooled.
• Document critical product measurements & production data accurately.
Test & Pack Operator:
• Conduct final inspection of finished product prior to and in the packaging process.
• Test & label cores using proprietary testing equipment.
• Document critical product measurements & production data accurately.
Qualifications:
• Industrial hands-on experience in a similar position will be an asset.
• Good overall mechanical abilities required.
• Able to use and read industrial measuring tools.
• Team player, self-disciplined and ability to work with minimum supervision.
